The club is proud to announce after eight seasons in India has decided to rebadge itself to attract more local support. With an emerging supporter base in Bangalore after 19 seasons as the Owls, two as East Adelaide and 17 as Sheffield Wed, the club has rebadged itself as the Bangalore Lions. This decision bringing it closer to its recently purchased sister club the Bangalore Bears.
